Every single year we lose tens of thousands of fertile soil due to uncontrolled severe erosion. We need to plant billions of new trees so as to fight with this unmerciful issue turning our beautiful country into a desert. My goal is to donate 10.000 saplings as a sevice to our country. All your feedback, donations and contribution will be more than welcome in fulfillment of my dream.

I have decided to spend the 2008 Explore Tour Leader Awards prize money on tree plantation in Ankara. The location selected for the mission was a previously afforested area of Middle East Technical University (METU) campus, Ankara gone after a big forest fire last summer.
