We start our tour at the Eminonu Square and proceed onto the famous Ottoman arcade Spice Bazaar. Here merchants had been selling all kinds of spices and valuable merchandise for centuries. Next, we pay a wortwhile visit to Rustempasa Mosque. It was one of the final constructions of the famous architect Master Sinan. It is deemed to posses the best interior tulip decorations in Istanbul. Then we will step out and embark on our private boat with a clear loud speaker system to explore the Yalıs (water-front mansions) and notable buildings of the Bosphorus. We will both cover the European and Asian shores of the city literally crosssing between the continents! Having enjoyed the lovely views of the world’s narrowest starit, our private boat will bring us back to spot we started our tour.

We start our tour at the Eminonu Square. Then we walk across the Galata Bridge enjoying the panorama of old Stamboul and the Bosphorus Bridge. Next, we visit the nearby Arab Mosque which is literally the first Muslim shrine of the city. Afterwards, we will visit the Jewish Museum to learn about the Jewish heritage in Turkey. Then we will take the funicular called “tunel” opened in 1875. The upper end of world’s second tube will be the official beginning of Istiklal Street, in other words, art nouveau Istanbul. On a normal day, half a million people visit this vibrant walking street. Here we will visit a number of interesting places including the “Mevlevihane”, the headquarters of humanistic “Whirling Dervishes” order. The atmospherical fish market of the avenue is renowned for many great tastes, so a perfcet spot for lunch. The street terminates by the Taksim Square where we will line up for our historic tram ride back to the tunnel. Tram services in Istanbul began in 1871 which was then powered by horses. Galata Tower is situated very near the tunnel where we will admire the views as the sun goes down for a perfect ending of our exhilarating day.

The picturesque boat ride will be a great oppurtunity for the photo enthusiasts. Disembarking our ferry we will have officially stepped upon a new continent: Asia! The name of this leading district is Kadıkoy that was constantly settled since the frontier Phoenician sea traders named it Chalcedon, the land of the blinds in the 7th centruy BC. Kadıkoy boast great fish reastaurants and a robust market area where we will eargly roam around. Next, we will meet with our van continue up the hill to the highest spot of the city Camlica Hill to admire the most fantastic views of the biggest metropolis in Europe. We will take the 1973 gravity anchored suspension bridge of Bosphorus on the way back. One should not miss the famous historic district Ortakoy upon Boshorus situated on the European foot of the bridge, so shall we.
